Parent Visa enables of children who are Australian citizens or Permanent Residents to be sponsored for Permanent Residence in Australia.
The Contributory Parent category has the option of either a one or two-visa pathway to permanent residence. You can elect to apply initially for a two year temporary contributory parent visa or apply directly for permanent residency.
Depending on their circumstances, applicants may apply for an offshore or onshore visa.
This visa is a permanent visa that allows a child to remain in Australia with their parent. The parent must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.
The parent must act as sponsor for the child and can lodge the visa application on behalf of the child.
This visa is for a child or person who is under 25 years of age who wants to remain in Australia with their parent.
